Editorial policy
How Altovar writes and publishes news: who writes it, how it is reviewed, and what to do if something is wrong.
Who writes
Articles are written by Altovar's team and by Neska, Altovar's AI system for research and first drafts. Every article is signed: a person's name, or "Neska" when the piece was AI-drafted.
Human review
Every article, whoever wrote the first draft, is reviewed by a human editor before it is published. Review checks accuracy, sourcing and tone, not just spelling.
Sources
Claims are backed by linked sources — vendor documentation, advisories, changelogs, source code, or the outlet that first reported something. What is confirmed is stated as fact; what is a rumour, a leak or an unconfirmed claim is labelled as such and kept separate from what is confirmed.
Corrections and updates
When an article needs a correction or a meaningful update after publishing, we edit it and add a dated note explaining what changed and why. We do not silently rewrite published claims.
No sponsored content
Altovar does not publish sponsored or paid articles in this section. Any commercial partnership relevant to a piece is disclosed in the article itself.
