IN THE PRODUCT

Four things you can check.

MAILBOXES
15 · 50 GiB

Hosted mailboxes come in two sizes. Webmail also opens a mailbox you already have, over IMAP and SMTP.

CALENDAR
CalDAV · CardDAV

Calendar and contacts run on our own calendar service, over open protocols.

DRIVE
Links with expiry

Share by link with a password and an expiry, or with another user. Uploads resume after a break, and each change keeps a version you can restore.

SIGNING
PKCS#12

Sigil signs PDFs with your own certificate, on Windows and Linux.

THE SITUATION

What a subscription hides.

Switching is mostly a question of what you actually use.

Mail is the part that cannot fail
People forgive a slow file share. They do not forgive a lost message. Mail moves first, and it moves by IMAP, so the old mailbox can stay beside the new one.
Documents leave as PDFs
Contracts, offers and forms go out of the company as PDFs. Editing and signing them does not need a full suite.
You can move one piece at a time
Webmail works with a mailbox hosted anywhere. Drive mounts over WebDAV. Nothing forces an all-at-once switch.

QUESTIONS

Questions we get.

Can I keep my current mailbox?

Yes. Webmail opens any IMAP and SMTP mailbox. Hosted mailboxes are optional.

Is it end-to-end encrypted?

No. Neither Webmail nor Drive is end-to-end encrypted.

Is there a word processor or a spreadsheet?

No. There is no document editor, no spreadsheet, no slides and no co-editing.

Do I sign in once for everything?

No. Webmail has its own session. Drive and the calendar sign in through Auris.

Where does it run?

The apps run on our servers in Germany. A global network sits in front of the web addresses, so we do not claim that no traffic leaves the EU.
