Permissions with a purpose

Review the available permission switches before working. Keyboard, clipboard, audio, files and restart each affect what the connection can share or control. Choose the settings you need for the task and explain them to the person at the host.

A clipboard exchange and a file transfer serve different needs. Use text clipboard for short pieces of text and the transfer queue for files. If the work changes, review the permissions together before continuing with a new action.
